Privacy Policy
Effective: August 13, 2026
Morrow Family App LLC, an Arizona limited liability company (“Morrow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), helps families organize information that comes home from school. This policy explains what information Morrow collects, why we use it, how it is handled, and the choices you have.
1. Information you provide
Account information. When you create or use a Morrow account, we may collect your email address, display name, profile photo, time zone, and account and family membership information.
Family information. You may provide information about family members so Morrow can organize information for the right person. This may include first names, family relationships, schools or school districts, activities, schedules, events, and other information you choose to save. Some of this information may relate to children.
School documents and uploads. You may upload school calendars, newsletters, bell schedules, activity flyers, sports schedules, teacher preference sheets, screenshots, and similar materials. Morrow uses AI to identify useful dates, schedules, reminders, preferences, and other details. Morrow does not intentionally retain the original uploaded image or PDF as a permanent file in your Morrow account after processing; instead, Morrow saves useful information extracted from it when you choose to save that information.
Things you tell or ask Morrow. You may type reminders, notes, questions, instructions, dates, transportation details, activity information, or other family information. Morrow may use relevant saved family information to understand your note or answer your question.
2. How we use information
We use information to create and manage accounts; organize saved family information; identify dates, schedules, reminders, and details from documents; connect related information; answer questions about saved information; personalize Morrow for your family; provide support; diagnose technical problems; protect Morrow; operate and improve the service; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell your family's school information or saved Morrow memories. We do not use children's information for targeted advertising.
3. Artificial intelligence processing
AI is part of how Morrow turns unstructured information into useful family reminders and answers. Information submitted to an AI-powered feature may be transmitted to the applicable service provider for processing.
Google Gemini. Morrow uses Google's Gemini API for certain features, including processing uploaded documents and interpreting some information entered into Morrow. Morrow uses Gemini through a project with active billing. Under Google's terms for paid Gemini API services, Google states that it does not use prompts, uploaded files, or responses from paid services to improve its products. Google may retain information for limited purposes such as abuse monitoring and legal or regulatory requirements.
OpenAI. Morrow uses the OpenAI API for certain language features, including generating useful explanations or answers from information available to Morrow. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default unless the API customer affirmatively opts in.
AI can make mistakes. AI-generated extraction, organization, reminders, and answers may be incomplete or incorrect. Review important dates, times, fees, deadlines, transportation details, medical or emergency information, and other consequential information against the original source when accuracy matters.
4. Storage and family access
Morrow uses Supabase for database and authentication infrastructure. Saved family memories are associated with a Morrow family. Database access controls are designed to restrict access to authenticated users associated with that family.
Shared family information may be accessible to other authenticated users added to the same Morrow family. Only add people you trust to access that shared information.
5. Family managers and shared data
Morrow distinguishes between an individual's account and information shared by a family. Every authenticated user may manage their own account. Certain actions involving shared family information are limited to family managers. Family managers may add or remove family members, manage associated school information, and delete shared family data.
6. Account and family deletion
You may delete your own Morrow account through account settings. Deleting your individual account removes your sign-in and personal account profile, subject to limited information we may need to retain for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, or operational purposes.
If you are part of a shared family, deleting your individual account does not automatically delete information belonging to that family. A family manager may separately delete shared family data, including saved memories, family-member records, schools, and relationships between family members and schools.
7. Bug reports and support
If you submit a bug report, Morrow may collect information needed to investigate it, such as your account or family identifier, email address, description of the problem, expected behavior, page URL, browser or device information, viewport size, time zone, optional screenshot, and report status.
Morrow may use Resend to deliver support-related email notifications. Please avoid including information in a bug report that is not necessary to investigate the problem.
8. Service providers
We use third-party service providers to operate Morrow, currently including Supabase for database and authentication infrastructure, Vercel for hosting and server infrastructure, Google Gemini and OpenAI for AI processing, and Resend for transactional or support email delivery. These providers may process information on our behalf when necessary to provide their services.
We may change providers as Morrow evolves. If a change materially affects how we handle personal information, we will update this policy as appropriate.
9. Children's information
Morrow is designed for parents, guardians, caregivers, and other adults managing family information, not for children to independently use. Children should not create Morrow accounts or submit information directly to Morrow on their own.
Authorized adults may choose to save information relating to children, including names, schools, schedules, activities, and events, because that information is necessary for Morrow's family-organization features.
We do not knowingly use children's personal information for behavioral advertising or sell children's personal information. If you believe a child has created an account or provided personal information directly to Morrow without appropriate authorization, contact us at hello@morrow-family.app.
10. Data retention
We generally keep account and saved family information for as long as needed to provide Morrow or until the appropriate user deletes it.
Bug reports and related support information are generally retained for up to 12 months after the report is closed. We may retain information longer when reasonably necessary to comply with law, maintain security, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
Third-party service providers may retain information according to their applicable agreements and retention policies.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including authenticated access and database-level access controls for family information. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed completely secure.
If you believe your Morrow account or family information may have been compromised, contact hello@morrow-family.app.
12. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal information; obtain information about its use or disclosure; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; or appeal or complain about certain privacy decisions.
Morrow provides controls that allow authenticated users to change their own email address and delete their own account. Family managers have additional controls over shared family information. For a request you cannot complete through Morrow, contact hello@morrow-family.app. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
13. Sale and advertising
Morrow does not sell personal information and does not use family or children's information for targeted advertising. If these practices materially change, we will update this policy and provide any notice or choices required by applicable law before applying those practices to personal information.
14. Cookies, local storage, and similar technology
Morrow may use browser storage or similar technology when necessary for authentication, security, preferences, temporary guest setup, and operation of the service. Saved family memories for authenticated families are stored in Morrow's server-side database rather than being maintained solely as persistent browser-local family data.
We will update this section if Morrow introduces analytics, advertising, or other tracking technologies that materially change how browser or device information is collected.
15. Links to other services
Morrow may contain links to websites or services operated by others. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this policy.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Morrow changes. When we do, we will update the effective date above. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide additional notice when appropriate or required by law.
